The Southside Life…

So, I’m just a south side junkie; I guess?

Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, I had a lot to learn about living in Milwaukee when I moved here several years ago. A little bit of this and a little bit of that… or so they say. Lets just say that this beast of  a city is VERY different than a lot of suburbs like Brookfield, Waukesha, or even Washington County. Much different!

Then there’s Grant Park! Oh the majestic beauty of the bluffs, trees, and shores of the great Lake Michigan. It’s like a majestic miracle in the eyes of a storm.
Grant Park-2017
Simply a 10 minute drive from home and I’m free to escape this malady of Milwaukee Dairy Air (pot), people driving past at 80 plus mph, or the wonderful people who don’t even understand the concept of blinker lever! For those who don’t know, it’s typically on the left side of the steering column, and you can lift it up (for right turns) or push it down (for left turns). And it even magically turns itself off after you have turn this way or that… Grrr.

The Curious Case Of Sade Robinson

MILWAUKEE, WI.
If you’re old enough, then you may know of the deaths of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991 – all at the hands of Jeffrey Dahmer; convicted serial killer and sex offender. I’m 68 and I’ll never forget that horrific nightmare. The circumstances of this case kind of remind me of that era…

Sade Robinson, Milwaukee 2024 Sade Robinson was a college student at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She was on a date with 33 year old Maxwell Anderson, but never showed up for her shift the next day at a Wisconsin pizza restaurant. Then the search for her began.

Eventually they found her burnt-out vehicle, and police have since found several body parts spread across the Milwaukee area, which are believed to belong to her.

Maxwell Anderson has since been charged in her death.

Personally, I wish to express my heartfelt condolences with the family and friends of this beautiful young woman, and share in their sorrow…

May God be with you all.
